Twenty castaways will compete in a tribal battle of the ages on Survivor: Nicaragua. For the last ten years, Survivor has traveled to the farthest corners of the planet and subjected over 300 contestants to the harshest environments. As the next decade of Survivor begins, this new group of strangers will compete on Survivor: Nicaragua. The castaways will be marooned in a land of smoldering volcanoes, wildlife and impenetrable terrain. They will be forced to work together to adapt to their new surroundings, yet compete against each other to stay in the game or be voted out by their peers. In the end, only one will remain to claim the million-dollar prize and title of Sole Survivor. These 20 castaways will be divided into two Tribes of 10 comprised of older competitors and younger competitors. The Espada Tribe, made up of individuals over the age of 40, must prove they have the life experience and knowledge that will ultimately help them Outwit and Outlast their younger competitors. The La Flor Tribe, consisting of individuals ages 30 and younger, will have to use their youth and vitality to Outplay and ultimately Outlast their elders.

  • The WORST Season of Survivor

    1
    By Julia Gulia Mulia
Buy any other season. Any. I will tell you why. No spoilers are included since this Season cant get any more spoiled as it is for my mind. 1) Sexist comments. Ok. So maybe having women as half of the population is an eccentricity of life for some humans who do not get the 'reproduction' thing, but please: Grown men calling grown men 'B****' and therefore trying to use half of humanity to insult a man's muscle mass makes me want to go make those men watch cartoons, bc cartoons use pink and blue. They need to go relearn Life so maybe they are Ok with the concept of women. Hopefully they are not colorblind, says me as a sexist. You see how dumb. Its boring. Call the man a worm, worms are not strong. THATS an Interesting insult. 'B****' as a word doesnt have any oomph to it anymore because most women like me use it as a special term of hotgirl-bonding. Thats just how Earth spins right now, termites. 2) Older folk. Do you understand why Survivor is not placing people in the Alaskan tundra. Its because you do not wear bikinis and Calvin Klein junkholders when snow is half up your a**. Beauty is ageist On The Most Part because people stopped eating French butter for their skin. You turn on a television; I do not watch news programs that have fat men. *shrugs* TV is for the eyes; And then the brain. After a day of work, I and most people only have eyes. 3) Its Just The Worst. Ugly people who are weakly-crazy, pretty people who are weakly-interesting. You dont care for any of them. Im telling you, Its The Worst Season. Ever.

Nicaragua is an extremely underrated season. It may not have had the greatest outcome, but the lot of it was fascinating to watch. The season does have major flaws, but also provides great moments. In particular, the editing was not outstanding, the medallion twist fell short, and some of the challenges - at least toward the beginning - were disappointing. On the other hand, there were many memorable players, almost every tribal council was unpredictable, and there was lots of drama. Nicaragua followed Heroes vs. Villains, and understandably many fans felt let down. In reality, any season to follow HvV was going to have its work cut out for it. Although, considering recent seasons, it is by far better than Redemption Island, South Pacific, and One World. You could also argue that Nicaragua is pretty even matched with Caramoan given that virtually nothing happened for the first 8 episodes of the latter. It is even better than a few of its predecessors. Personally, I will never understand why people rate this season so low, besides the fact it followed a massively successful all star season. Take my word for it, I am not one of those “Redemption Island needs more love” fans. Those seasons I mentioned were truly horrible. Nicaragua is not one of Survivor’s greatest, but it is a good season and should not be discarded.

Please give me a break APPLE, I bought the season pass. This is theft and misleading for your customers. Set a good example and get this corrected. If I try to download it now you want to charge me again.

FYI: Because iTunes was ridiculously late in posting the season finale (episode 15), but not late in posting episode 16, I watched the finale on another site. The episode ended like it does on realtime TV--before the final votes were counted. I then downloaded episode 16 from iTunes only to find that the final votes had already been counted. No idea if they're in episode 15 here, now that it's downloadable, or if iTunes just skips the voting part altogether. Not the best season for the show, especially after the great seasons 19 and 20. But definitely worth watching.

Why would Apple do this ? It ruins it for subscribers, also it won't let me download it when I press the buy button... If it is posted and I paid for it, why cant I have it? Great show, bad customer experience on Apple's part. This should be fixed!

Could not be more annoyed at itunes for their season pass rip off. Not only that, but their customer service support completely ignored my question about episode 15 when I emailed in. Still not sure how they can go this long without even an email to season pass holders, epic failure itunes!
