Bought this for my children after it originally aired for $10. The box art didn’t advertise the fact the special wasn’t only 26 minutes in length. Originally the iTunes official run time was over an hour. Excited for my purchase I sat my children to watch and it was over quickly after it started. The special is padded with reject holiday specials from dream works other animated franchise. Buyer beware. I wish I could give it a 0 or negative star reviews.
  • Since when do iTunes extras get sold separately

This is basically small clips or just a movie shorts compilation. Seems like iTunes extras for three separate movies. Not enough content to sell and trailer was very misleading! Asked for a refund after watching only one video and fast forwarding to see the other videos were not even high quality animation. Feel tricked given it’s trailer never highlights other shorts.

They just changed the description. Originally they had no indication on the description or image that you are paying for 26 minutes of trolls...with additional shows that are completely unrelated to fill up the 1 hr and 13 minute run time.

Extremely short Trolls bit padded with less-than-TV-quality cartoons.
  • Not worth buying, watch on Netflix

I was so disappointed that this “movie” is 20mins of just songs. No real storyline. My kids and I love the trolls movie and were disappointed when we saw this holiday video. Plus they add filler episodes of cartoons that you can watch on Netflix as well. If I would’ve known this was going to Netflix I would have never wasted my money to purchase it. Total waste.
  • Sneaky marketing.

This is not just a Trolls holiday short. It is not 1hr 12minutes long like it says at the top. The trolls part is only 24 minutes. The rest is awful, dumb, filler cartoons. I find it a little predatory for them to only show the Trolls image in the thumbnail, show the full duration, and hide the fact that there are other cartoons that pad the content at the very bottom of the description below “the fold”. I guess I should have looked more carefully but I thought Apple was better than duping people into spending $10 on mostly garbage content. If it had said 24 minutes for $10 I would not have bought it. Very disappointing.

You can watch this on Netflix.
  • Cute, but way overpriced.

This is a cute Trolls movie, but the credits are longer than the movie. Seriously it feels like the video is done in 15 minutes, then there’s 20 minutes of credits, and then adverising episodes for TV shows. This should have been $4.99 for the Trolls show and leave the rest out. No little one wants to wait through the endless credits to watch the other shows.

I read the run time 1 hr 13min and thought, sure my kid would love this! Only to have her upset her "movie" was over in 26 minutes #eyeroll. In iTunes the description cut off before mentioning the 26 min run time, and why would I read the whole thing, to get an idea of the plot of a movie #dontcare. This will be the first time I request a refund from apple. Also, just go watch it free on netflix #feelikeasucker
