Johnny Saxby works long hours in brutal isolation on his family’s remote farm in the north of England. When a handsome Romanian migrant worker arrives to take up temporary work on the family farm, Johnny suddenly finds himself having to deal with emotions he has never felt before. An intense relationship forms between the two which could change Johnny’s life forever.

The acting is very good and the story told in a compelling way.
  • Not much to it

Really, not much to this. Not worthy of the hype.
  • Incredibly good

Had to use subtitles because of the dialect, but it was more than worth it. One of the best movies of this year. Watch it, you won’t regret it, guaranteed!
  • This movie gives you HOPE.

This movie will remind you “Brokeback Mountain” but isn’t tragic. This movie is realistic, you probably will identify with at least one of the characters. The bottom line is that the movie gives you hope of finding true love. Cinematographically speaking is beautiful and very well acted. In my opinion, this is an Instant Classic! If I feel down and hopeless, I watch this movie to remind me that there’s still hope to find True Love.

This was an sanding l amazing movie! As long as you are prepared for the accents, you can see the true power of what life without love and with love can do to a person! A great movie!
  • Underwhelming

I liked the cinematography, but the plot was predictable and had a typical ending. The characters weren’t very dynamic or relatable.
  • Beautiful Love story

A proud cast of characters entangled on a family farm. Where life runs at its own pace and bakes itself from one day to the next. I was waiting for this movie to show up on PPV, finally was able to sit and watch this movie. I have to say, I am a proud gay man in my 30’s, feeling burnt out about finding the one. I thought I’d gotten Love removed from my vocabulary. But after watching this movie I’ve been longing to meet the love of my life. Feeling optimistic about everything around me and every handsome man. Im giving this review a 5 Star because the film showed me that we all hurt inside but never truly find Love to help us come out of our shell to experience life. Love what a wonderful feeling!!!
  • Authentic, Genuine and Relateable

This was such a beautifully scripted and realistically / naturally acted movie. It truly was about learning to love and to be loved - not everyone knows how to do that.I immediately dentified with Alec's character so much because I had recently been in a relationship much like this with the exception of the movie's happy ending - which keeps me hopeful. I am sure I will watch this several more times.

An amazing achievement - With minimal dialogue , the incredible actors, director, and cinematography all work in concert to create characters we care about and who speak volumes about trust, responsibility, respect, and love. A film to cherish For me, the best film of the year.
